The Session
In the Presbyterian tradition, each local church is an independent entity managed by a group elected by the membership for fixed terms of service.
It is the duty of the Session to assure the smooth operation of the church and its facilities, to oversee the church's abiding commitment to the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and to maintain cooperative and rewarding relationships with the Presbytery, the Synod and the wider Presbyterian Church (USA) organization.
At the end of each year the Session prepares an Annual Report to inform the members of the church of important developments.
